11524 15th Ave NE Ste B Seattle, WA 98125 (206) 407-4932 Learn about integrity and the human structure. We will look at elements of strength, flexibility, awareness, and mobility to see how they together create grace. I will demonstrate how the body is connected and functions as a synergistic organism rather than a collection of parts that make up a whole. We as a group will do some experiential exercises that will allow you to sense the inherent connections in your physical structure, such as how the feet play an integral role in supporting the back and how our arms don't end at the shoulders but functionally continue directly into the diaphragm. These exercises will give you an expanded awareness of the incredible functionality in your body and inspire new amazement at your ability to direct the simplest of movements. Susanna Baxter is a Certified Rolfer and large animal massage therapist. After attending Western Washington University to earn her BA in Spanish and Linguistics, Susanna traveled to Boulder, CO, to study Rolfing. Release your inner temptress! Be ready to learn moves that will captivate all your admirers (if you don't have any, you will after this class). This class is inspired by the current pop star moves and it will teach you how to strut your stuff on the dance floor and work what you got. The goal of this class is to unleash the funky diva in all women and inspire lots of confidence while dancing in front of other people. Be prepared to have fun and get down! Ariel grew up in the Bay Area, dancing to hip-hop and old-school R&B in her living room while watching too much after school TV. After watching Strictly Ballroom for the 12th time one summer she decided to take a tango class (partly because a guy she liked was taking it). Well, the guy didn't last, but tango did. Eventually she moved on the other dances like Lindy Hop and Blues. But it is her solo movement that captivates people. She is here to pass on her secrets of how every woman can be the most beautiful woman on the dance floor! Ariel is out dancing tango, blues, and lindy 5 nights a week and teaches Tango, Blues, Slow Dancing, and For Ladies Only! Check out Ariel’s For Ladies Only! classes held every month through Redmond Parks and Recreation. P.S. she did find love on the dance floor.get that glow: simple self care with hot stones, ancient salts and essential oils
